West Ham are set to complete the signing of Daniel Cummings from Celtic

The highly rated 18 year old has been in talks with the club for a number of weeks, with West Ham eager to secure his services ahead of the summer, however Celtic had been pushing to retain the player.

However, it has now been reported by our club insider Ex that Cummings will undertake a medical at West Ham ahead of signing his pre-contractual agreement where he will be secured as a Hammers player.

“We can exclusively reveal that Scottish forward Daniel Cummings will have his medical tomorrow ahead of his pre contractual agreement move from Celtic,” stated Ex on The West Ham Way Patreon.

“West Ham will have to pay Celtic compensation for the talented forward and Mark Noble has been very influential in the signing.

“We can also report that parts of the medical have been undertaken today.”

The signing is seen as a coup, with Cummings regarded as a huge potential, while Mark Noble has managed to secure a key target for the club.

Celtic did, however, suffer a minor hit in revenue in the first half of the 2024-25 financial year, with their turnover falling from £85.2million to £83.5million.

The club’s stadium operations revenue increased from £29.8million to £31.6million, while their commercial revenue dropped from £37.2million to £33.8million and merchandising slipped from £18.3million to £18.1million.

Finance expert Stefan Borson exclusively told Football Insider their overall revenue is still expected to increase slightly this year following their success in the Champions League.
