West Ham striker agrees last-gasp Deadline Day exit

West Ham striker agrees last-gasp Deadline Day exit

West Ham youngster Brad Dolaghan is set to depart on a loan deal on deadline day, says ExWHUEmployee.

The 20-year-old looks set to complete a temporary switch away from the London Stadium on 3 February with Aldershot likely to be his destination.

An update on the future of the forward in East London has been revealed by the Hammers insider who reported via The West Ham Way (3 February).

They said: “We can exclusively confirm that young forward Brad Dolaghan has agreed to join Aldershot on loan until the end of the season.”

“Ebbsfleet were also in the mix but it appears that Aldershot are the preferred choice. The deal should be announced this evening.”

West Ham to agree Brad Dolaghan loan exit

There has been no lack of strikers linked with a move to the Irons throughout the winter window with a view to improving Graham Potter’s side.

The English head coach’s main target was Evan Ferguson and he has now got his man who will likely become the starting regular moving forward.

This puts on ice any potential opportunities for young talents to be handed an opportunity to feature in the Premier League this season.

Despite the likes of Oliver Scarles being handed a chance, it doesn’t appear that Dolaghan is going to have the same luck so a move away makes sense.

It appears that the 20-year-old is off to Aldershot who are currently fighting to keep their place in the National League.

This could prove to be the making of the young forward who will want to prove himself to Potter before returning to the London Stadium in the summer.
