BEST SIGNING EVER;Rangers has finally signed their dream player from Nottingham Forest
Rangers couldn’t have had a slower start to the transfer window with Philippe Clement yet to see movement in either direction.
The squad still has players who the manager will want to move on, however, this shouldn’t exclude the possibility of loan signings where needs be.
By this time last year, Fabio Silva had already signed, with a forward who was interested in a move to Rangers missing out.
Rangers linked Emmanuel Dennis made available for transfer
Emmanuel Dennis signed for Watford on loan instead but the versatile front man has now been deemed surplus to requirements by high-flying Nottingham Forest, according to Sky Sports’ Dharmesh Sheth:
“Interest in Nottingham Forest striker Emmanuel Dennis is growing,” posted the reporter on X.
“Three Championship clubs, one from La Liga and one from Serie A are all keen to sign the player.
“Forest will listen to loan and permanent offers. Dennis has entered the final 18 months of his contract.”
Nigeria international Dennis has yet to feature this season and has never really reached the heights of his 2021/22 Premier League campaign at Watford where he hit 10 goals and created six assists.
Rangers ran out of goals last season in the title race and would probably have a change of heart if they could turn back the clock:
“Emmanuel Dennis has been proposed to the club but there hasn’t been an official approach as of now,” Belgian journalist Sacha Tavolieri explained on X.
“I can confirm the player’s interest for Rangers though.”
Could Rabbi Matondo’s departure free up space for a new winger?
Clement’s biggest problem just now isn’t injuries to players in the final third as it was last season, it’s the quality available outside his first-choice regulars.
