BOMBSHELL REVELATION;Ruud van Nistelrooy could leave Leicester City this month

Leicester City find themselves in a really precarious position both on and off the pitch.

The Foxes have fell into the relegation zone after five straight defeats and there are lingering doubts over whether they may breach Financial Fair Play regulations for the 2023/24 season.

Leicester could be facing a points deduction if found guilty, so everyone connected to the club will be nervously awaiting the Premier League’s verdict – which could come as early as Monday.

Despite that, City are still expected to strengthen in the transfer window this month as it’ll have no bearing on their previous accounting year – the one in question.

Although, eight days into the window, things are very quiet on the transfer front and now a quite shocking revelation has just emerged involving Ruud van Nistelrooy.

Ruud van Nistelrooy could leave Leicester if he’s not backed this month

It’s absolutely imperative for Leicester to sign reinforcements this month as they fight for their Premier League status.

Failure to do so would likely result in relegation and that’s when the EFL could enforce serious punishments for breaching financial rules previously.

Van Nistelrooy has spoken about his desire to do business and Leicester have been linked with Udinese centre-back Thomas Kristensen.

Manchester United midfielder Toby Collyer has also been mooted to join the King Power Stadium outfit.

However, whilst relegation rivals Ipswich Town and Wolves strengthen, Leicester are yet to make any additions and it doesn’t look like anything is in the pipeline.

That said, according to The Athletic, van Nistelrooy could consider leaving Leicester if he’s not backed and he has a history of doing that before.

The Dutchman left PSV as he felt he wasn’t being supported by the board.
