Ahead of the US Grand Prix, F1 pundit Peter Windsor has offered advice to Max Verstappen, warning him about potential distractions that he doesn’t need as he focuses on the race. Windsor emphasized that Verstappen, despite his dominant performances, should avoid getting entangled in off-track issues or overthinking potential changes in the team dynamics or performance. Windsor pointed out that Verstappen is already in an incredibly strong position, having addressed many of his earlier driving weaknesses, and should focus on maintaining his momentum rather than letting external factors, like team transitions or rumors, affect his performance.
This caution comes as Verstappen continues to face speculation regarding his future with Red Bull and possible moves to other teams, particularly Mercedes, post-2022.
