After holding Tottenham Hotspur to a 1-1 draw in Gameweek 1, Leicester City would have hoped for a better start to the 2024–25 Premier League season. But in their next five games, the Foxes have only managed two more points, and it seems that Steve Cooper hasn’t won over many people behind the scenes. Even though Leicester played Arsenal last week and displayed some encouraging moments, they lost again, this time at the Emirates 4-2.
As for Bournemouth, they continue making waves under Andoni Iraola despite a few stinging results in the first few weeks of the 2024/25 Premier League season. The Cherries have won two, drawn two, and lost two games thus far this term. However, they returned to winning ways in Gameweek 6 by cruising to a 3-1 win over Southampton.
Bournemouth clinched a narrow 1-0 win over Leicester City in the most recent Premier League clash at the King Power Stadium featuring the teams. The Hard Tackle takes a closer look at the encounter ahead of the latest meeting between the two sides.

Before the journey to the King Power Stadium, Andoni Iraola has no new problems to cope with, in contrast to his counterpart in the Leicester City dugout. There will be just one first-team player absent for the Bournemouth manager.
The only player missing is Tyler Adams, an American midfielder who is almost ready to play again after recuperating from a back ailment. Aside from that, Iraola’s squad is ready for this weekend’s Premier League matchup.
In the match against Leicester City, Bournemouth will line up in a 4-2-3-1 configuration in front of goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga, who is an automatic choice. The backline should contain Julian Araujo, Illia Zabarnyi, Marcos Senesi, and Milos Kerkez.
Regarding the midfield group, Marcus Tavernier will continue to play as number 10, while Lewis Cook and Ryan Christie should form a double pivot combination. The two wide attackers should be Dango Ouattara and the highly effective Antoine Semenyo, with Evanilson leading Bournemouth’s attack against Leicester City on Saturday.
