Rangers have submitted an official offer for Ibrahim Adel as a last-minute bidding war starts for the forward, according to btolat.
The Egyptian outlet reported on its website on Wednesday (28 August) that the Egyptian star has attracted interest from several clubs in Europe and the Premier League, namely Ipswich Town and Leicester City.
Pyramids FC are expected to find it difficult to reject any big offers for the attacker’s signature this summer, but the greater interest in Adel’s signature is expected to aid their negotiating position.
The Egyptian side is expected to consider the offers submitted in the final days of the summer transfer window before negotiating with the interested clubs to try and secure the best deal for the 23-year-old.

Philippe Clement has been eager to add to his wide options throughout the summer transfer window as he begins his first full season in charge at Ibrox and looks to get his hands on the Premiership title.
Both Oscar Cortes and Vaclav Cerny have arrived to add a bit of cutting edge to the Light Blues’ ranks from out wide and the latter especially has been a total revelation from his first game in a Rangers shirt.
With Scott Wright reportedly nearing the Ibrox exit door [Football Scotland, 28 August] and speculation still surrounding Rabbi Matondo’s long-term future in Glasgow, there will be space in Clement’s squad for Adel to slot into the fold.
The 23-year-old showed in the Olympics that he has the ability to perform in a European league. While teh step up to the Premiership would be a major jump, it is one that other players have managed to make in the past.
Hopefully, with a few outgoings on the horizon, Rangers will be able to beat their competitors in the transfer race for the wideman’s signature and make a solid and exciting last-minute addition to Clement’s ranks.
