Rangers want to sign £2m attacker, personal terms no issue – report

Rangers want to sign Norwich City attacker Abu Kamara before the August 30 transfer deadline, according to Football Scotland.

The online outlet has reported that the winger could be available for as little as £2million, but Philippe Clement would need to sell players first.

It is said that personal terms would be no issue for the Norwich attacker, who has requested an exit after failing to break through at Carrow Road following a loan spell at Portsmouth last season.

Rangers to sign Abu Kamara?

Clement is scrambling for new transfers, especially in the final third.

Nils Koppen will be very busy in the final week of the window, although player exits will be at the top of his list before any more incomings, it seems.

Todd Cantwell has handed in a transfer request and Ianis Hagi is potentially getting a lifeline back in Romania with a move to Rapid Bucharest [Emanuel Rosu].

With Rabbi Matondo also destined to join Blackburn in the Championship this week [Daily Mail], money could soon be available to spend.

Clement and Koppen will be ready to spring into action immediately after some exits are confirmed, and it looks like Kamara could be top of that list.

Young, skilful and with a point to prove, the winger could be a real hidden gem who may explode to life at Ibrox, or Hampden Park depending on the timing of that return home.
