£62.5m bid, Toney, Branthwaite – Man United’s final summer transfer moves ‘decided’

Manchester United are looking to add at least three more additions to their squad before the summer transfer window slams shut

Manchester United’s summer transfer window is far from over as we creep towards deadline day for clubs across Europe.

The window shall ceremoniously slam shut on Friday, August 30 and it is clear that United are still lacking in some areas of their squad. Erik ten Hag’s side have not played a competitive fixture yet and already their defence is hanging by a thread with Leny Yoro confirmed to be out for months while; Harry Maguire, Victor Lindelof, Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Luke Shaw are all doubts to face Manchester City at Wembley Stadium this weekend.

MEN Sport understands the Reds are looking to make at least three new additions to their squad. Noussair Mazraoui is wanted should Wan-Bissaka be sold likewise Jarrad Branthwaite and Matthijs de Ligt are of interest should Victor Lindelof depart.

A central defensive midfielder is also desired but the Reds are struggling in this area considering Casemiro remains at the club. With United’s business likely to go down to the wire, CoinPoker.com enlisted the help of Artificial Intelligence (AI) to predict how the window will end for the Reds.

Despite United wanting to strengthen in defence and midfield, AI predicts Ineos will go all out to sign Ivan Toney this month. The technology believes the Reds will prepare a £62.5m bid for the Brentford striker which will be accepted due to the player’s desire to play for a ‘top club’.

Unfortunately, AI also believes United’s approach to bring Branthwaite to Old Trafford will fall short with negotiations between Everton and the Reds not progressing. If this were to happen, it would be highly disappointing for United and would mean that Ten Hag’s side are once again lacking depth ahead of another long season.
