David Gray has reiterated the need for Hibs to bolster their striking options ahead of the new season.
The Easter Road boss has been frustrated in his attempts to strengthen the top end of the pitch, with Dylan Vente the only recognised striker at the club. Martin Boyle could also be deployed in the role, while goal-shy Harry McKirdy is another option
But with the Premiership kick-off against St Mirren just days away, Gray admits he’d like a new frontman in the door before Sunday’s trip to Paisley. He said: “We definitely need to strengthen the top end of the pitch, to get more competition for places, 100 per cent.
